It is amusing that the same sceptics who insist that “extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence” often appeal to the most bizarre scenarios to explain away the evidence for the resurrection. Perhaps the disciples stole the body in the hope of starting a world religion.  

It’s often claimed that there is no historical evidence for the resurrection of Jesus: it’s just a matter of blind faith. The interesting thing is that historians know a lot about Jesus’ life and events relating to and following his crucifixion.
