David Glass will be giving a seminar on ‘Science, God and the Flying Spaghetti Monster’ at the Summer Madness festival which is taking place at Glenarm Castle, Co. Antrim between 28th June and 2nd July. His seminar is on 1st July at 4.30pm. Here’s an overview:
According to the mindset of the New Atheism, ‘Summer Madness’ is a good name for a Christian festival because belief in God is irrational, no more rational than belief in the Flying Spaghetti Monster. This seminar provides a response to Richard Dawkins and the other New Atheists by addressing such questions as: Does science undermine belief in God? Does science undermine atheism? What about the big bang and evolution?
